Are you tired of your clothes?
Use these go-to concepts to spice up your styling game and give NEW LIFE to your current wardrobe!
HOW TO STYLE IT DIFFERENT TO MAKE IT FUN AGAIN:
LAYER:
Layer adds interest and depth to the eye,
Try adding a light layer underneath a slouchy top, or a chunky sweater over top.
TUCK IT IN:
For tops and sweaters that you usually wear as is.
Try tucking it in (even just in front) to highlight your waistline.
MIX AND MATCH:
Challenge yourself to pair two items you normally wouldn't.
Challenge your limited creativity and thought that they "didn't belong together."
CUFF:
Cuff your pants and show off your ankles or cuff a long sleeve to show off wrists.
*Works great in jeans or work pants.
BELT IT:
Sinch at the waist to create an hourglass figure
Example: Belt and oversized dress as the waist.
MONOCHROME:
Try dressing in all one color from top to bottom.
Because sometimes restriction is freedom from decision fatigue.
ADD TEXTURE:
Invite two of the same or two contrasting textures.
Example: silk skirt + knitted sweater = interesting and timeless
ADD ACCESSORIES:
If you realllllly don't have time, grap a few things and throw them in your purse, put them on your way out.
Example: neck scarf, chunky earrings, statement necklace, etc.
*PSSST: If all else fails, wear a go-to, super simple outfit and wear your boldest shoes.
If you're re-defining your style, in the process of becoming a
new version of yourself, or if you're shedding the layers of
past versions of you,
