THE 1:1 METHOD

Balance can be achieved when equal opposites reside together. 

 While self-quarantining I've been able to watch my brain think. 
My brain wants to go to the negative.
It's designed to survive so it will always warn me when it thinks something "bad" has happened.
When things get unpredictable, our brains will reveal negativity.

 Choose to think one positive thing per each negative thought is what's keeping me sane these days.


My Real Examples: 
Punishment: "Why did I sleep so late today?! Now the whole day is ruined."
Self-Care: "I took care of myself today by sleeping a little bit longer."

Disconnection: "Isolation is making me feel so lonely."
Connected: "I've always got me. I'm more connected to myself than ever."

Negative: "I hate all my clothes right now."
Positive: "My butt looks really great in my favorite pair of jeans though." Haha!

Self-Doubt: "I talk too much."
Self-Empowerment: "I have something to say and others resonate with me when I speak up."
